Dr. Hale practiced and studied glaucoma for three years at the renowned Eye Institute in Philadelphia, PA. He is a very caring individual who truly considers the patient’s overall well-being and health. He is vigilant against diseases of the eye, such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, hypertensive retinopathy, edema, and glaucoma, to name a few. Over the years, he has expanded his mode of practice from basic eye examinations to a more comprehensive medical examination of not only the eye but also in some cases the vital signs of the patient. Modifying this standard and level of care has not only made him a better practicing doctor, but it also allows diagnosis of certain eye diseases 5 – 7 years earlier than the standard level of care. His expertise in this fashion has allowed him to be a better doctor and provide unsurpassed care to his patients. His training at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which is considered one of, if not the best in his field, prepared him for diagnostic examinations at the highest levels. The examinations are very thorough in ruling out any medical conditions affecting the eye. He is very serious about what he practices, and his patients love him for that. He believes in the latest in technology to diagnose and treat all diseases of the eye and focuses on his specialty field of glaucoma treatment.
Dr. Malik has been with Bridgemill Eyecare since 2013, in addition to working at our sister office, Furey Family Eye Care, since 2010. She has extensive experience in caring for patients with ocular diseases, including macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy. In addition, Dr. Malik provides complete ocular health examinations as well as glasses and contact lens fittings.
Dr. Choi has been with Bridgemill Eyecare since 2015. He has extensive experience treating patients with cataracts, co-managing glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy, and post-operative LASIK. Dr. Choi also provides complete ocular health examinations, glasses, and contact lens fittings.
Paula joined Bridgemill Eyecare in 2006. She delivers outstanding care to patients that improves vision and changes lives. Her knowledge of the industry has propelled her from the position of Front Office Coordinator to Optician, and now Practice Manager. In this role, Paula will support the overall day-to-day administrative and clinical activities, establish and maintain an effective operating environment, and assure efficient and safe operations that respond to patient, physician, and staff needs.
Debbie has been with Bridgemill Eyecare since 2010 and brings more than seven years of experience in the optometry industry. She will assist you in patient registration, verify insurance benefits where applicable, and accept payments for services. Not only has Debbie handled the Front Office Coordinator position, but she also has experience in the optical area as well. Her exuberance and organizational skills work well in a multi-tasking position.
Lisa has been with Bridgemill Eyecare since 2011. She brings over 20 years of office experience and 10 years as a private caregiver. Lisa will assist you with patient registration, verify insurance benefits where available, and guide you through the exam process. Lisa is extremely organized, works well under pressure, and enjoys working with people of all ages.
Louise has been with Bridgemill Eyecare since 2014. She brings many years of experience as an Optician. Louise will help you select your frame, take your measurements, and deliver the best possible customer service to you during your visit.
